Clinical Coding and AI Taskforce – Update

We want to thank every one who submitted an Expression of Interest to the HIMAA Clinical Coding and AI Industry Taskforce, we had an overwhelming response with 237 submitted in total. We are pleased to announce we have representatives from clinical coders, clinical documentation improvement, clinicians, educators, government bodies, health information managers, private sectors, public sectors, research, software vendors and CCSA.

We are excited to announce the publication of the Australian Core Data for Interoperability (AUCDI) Release 1, available on the Sparked website.

The AUCDI is a core foundation for health data interoperability in Australia. The AUCDI aims to standardise the capture, structure, usage, and exchange of health data to counteract the current fragmentation of Australia’s health data systems.
