As part of the HIMAA Membership Enhancement Strategy we have committed to reviewing the Fellow Program. We would like to review the benefits and connections that will come to members when they reach Fellow Membership Status- making it a meaningful program to be a part of.
In the meantime we would like to first encourage you to apply for Fellow Membership.

How to Attain Fellow Membership
Full Members who meet the following criteria can apply for can apply for an upgrade to become a HIMAA Fellow:
- Have practised in Health Information Management,
- Have been a Full Member for a minimum of seven continuous years, and
- Have made a significant contribution to the field of Health Information Management, as recognised by the Board.
Fellowship entitles the member to bear the post nominal FHIMAA.

Applications submitted by Thursday 19th October will be considered in time for recognition at this year’s AGM in November
